2000年9月在台大EMBA慈善與管理論壇中，我們邀請安貧小姊妹會( Little Sister of the Poor ) 台灣天主教安老院修女們分享對長者的照護的心路歷程,這是她們來台40多年首次對外演講.這些來自異國他鄉的天使們,把她們的一生都留給台灣這片土地,把她們所有的青春,都奉獻在照顧台灣孤苦無依的老人身上

聽完修女們的故事,所有人都被那無私無我的慈悲胸懷所深深感動。就像江教授在最後講評中的感言:

“護持這一條沒有結束的老年照護道路

  生命的奉獻與付出,超越了聖靈的感召

  這一天,所有與會者

  都因修女們無私無我的安貧樂道和慈悲

  而流下感動的眼淚”

愛沒有國界,愛也不分你我.在這樣的感動之下,隔天－，我與內人(琬珮老師)特地造訪了安貧小姊妹會安老院，在這一個幽靜潔淨的地方，修女帶著我，走過安老院的每一個地方，我並不是一個大企業家，而修女把我奉為上賓的招待引導，如此尊敬生命的心，讓我體會到，他們就是用這份無分別心，全心全意照護每一位長者的生命！

受到修女們無私奉獻的感動，因此我們開始規劃一整年的系列服務學習計畫。希望孩子藉由服務學習,來體驗修女們無私無我的慈悲胸懷，更期望中正國中這群小朋友們,能學習修女們無私奉獻的精神,來關懷社會，造福人群。
